Message from the President

Apologies for not posting this earlier

With the kind generosity shown by the participants at the final Regional Qualifier held at Leicester Banks we raised, in memory of Dougie Mclean, £150

This was presented to Jane who thanks us all and will give it to one of Dougies loves, the Dog Trust

She would like to thank us all personally but is understandably not up to this at the moment which I am sure we can all understand and appreciate

Thank you, East Midlands

Regards, Stone

2019 Diary

End of an Era

A note from the President:

It is with regret that I now inform you all that Tony Moulding has stepped down as Regional YDO with immediate effect

He has been Coaching in the Region for 25 years and 15 of those have been as Youth Development Officer. He as overseen some of our Region's most successful Juniors to European and World Championship levels and his final Testament to this is Daniel Raine

Due to personal reasons he feels this is the right time to step down and let someone else take on this mantle and I am pleased to announce that after a short discussion Joe Sheffield has now taken on the role as YDO. He has heavy involvement with the National Youth Squad alongside Toni Gates from the Chiltern Region and he is also the Regional Coach. He was very delighted to accept his new role as he feels he can also contribute to our Region's future Junior success

Now with Joe taking on his new role it means we are now looking for a new Regional Coach and I know we do have a few within our region to whom is very willing to offer his assistance and years of experience

Tony, the Region would like to wish you well for the future; and a massive thank you for your years of service - I know we haven’t seen the last of you
